MirrorTale collects only the information needed to create, review, deliver, and support personalized children's book orders.

Information We Collect

When you place an order, we collect parent or guardian contact details, child story details, dedication text, selected package, payment status, shipping details for print orders, and the photo you upload for book creation. Contact form messages are stored so we can reply to your question.

How We Use Photos

Uploaded child photos are used only to create and quality-check your MirrorTale book. They are stored in private cloud storage and are not sold, published, or used for unrelated marketing.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. MirrorTale does not store card numbers. We store Stripe payment identifiers, shipping details for print orders, and status so we can confirm payment and fulfill your order.

Service Providers

We use Google Cloud/Firebase for hosting, storage, and order records; Stripe for checkout; Resend for transactional email; and AI generation services for book creation. These providers process data only as needed to operate the service.

Retention And Deletion

Order records and generated files are kept for fulfillment, support, and business records. You can request deletion of personal data or uploaded photos by emailing hello@mirrortale.com.
